Sometimes, it’s the smallest prizes that spark the biggest results.
We were out one night during a Tavora activation with BrewDog when something brilliant happened. A girl played the game and won… a Freddo bar. Classic. She was buzzing — took a photo with it, laughing with her pals. Just a bit of fun, right?
But then we clocked two girls at the bar eyeing her up, trying to figure out what all the excitement was about. They’d been sipping gin and tonics, but suddenly they were hit with some serious FOMO.
We told them: “Buy a BrewDog, scan the QR code, play the game. You could win too.”
Next thing we know, they’re ordering two pints of BrewDog — completely switching their drinks just to join in — and asking to play. Ten minutes later, they’re back — beers in hand, prizes won, and one of them in a BrewDog t-shirt she’d just scored.
What started with a 40p chocolate bar turned into two new customers, two pints sold, branded merch out the door, and a ripple of buzz across the bar. All from one play.
It’s a small moment, but it captures what Tavora is all about — interactive marketing that makes brand discovery fun, memorable, and genuinely infectious. People don’t just watch the game happen — they have to be part of it. Turning curiosity into action and casual customers into brand fans.
